Football overcomes linguistic, social and cultural barriers and brings people together regardless of age, gender, origin or disability. Football is therefore an ideal way to live and experience inclusion. This basic idea forms both the foundation and the driving force behind the non-profit FOOTBALL IS MORE foundation (FIM).

The purpose of our foundation is to support and promote disadvantaged people through the power of football - and thus to strengthen them in the long term. We pay particular attention to children and young people who are socially disadvantaged, mentally and/or physically impaired or live in crisis areas and developing countries.

The FIM Family - an international network consisting of state institutions, educational establishments, representatives from politics and science, non-profit organisations, companies, football clubs, associations and committed individuals - plays a central role in achieving our goals. Together with them, we organise and implement national and international sponsorship projects, and the wide reach of the FIM Family enables our foundation to make the best possible use of the positive characteristics that football brings together.

At the FOOTBALL IS MORE foundation, we encourage all our partners to share knowledge, best practices and experiences at an international level in order to increase the impact of national and international initiatives in the areas of football for education and inclusion. Because just like on the pitch, teamwork is an essential success factor for the work of our foundation: we see our partners as part of our family.
